SuperRugby tips

Another week of exciting games in SuperRugby this week, first game could well be match of the round! As always, tips in GREEN bets in RED, enjoy! Same as the NRL tips I posted last night, got no balls this week so no multi, just 3 straight out bets. That and the fact there are 3 Saturday night games on late from the Republic, won;t be staying up late to watch all of them! Last round we got 4/7 tips right, multi failed at the first leg as neither side in the Canes v Chiefs matchup looked like scoring a big total! The Reds, who on form have been poor in RSA for sometime now, were also unlucky? Depends who you speak to about the game, some questionable ref-ing went against them but the Cheetahs continued their stellar season with another impressive win.

The 2 futures bets I’ll keep pushing is Crusaders and Reds to top their conferences too.

Chiefs v Crusaders: Chiefs have been just getting over the line, the all out attacking side of the start of the season has become timid, but good signs win ugly. Crusaders meanwhile looked in fine form demolishing the Blues last round. Both sides coming off 4game winning streaks, whose will end tonight? Feel it may be the Chiefs here,  Crusaders the tip and the -3 line looks good to me too at $1.92.

Rebels v Waratahs: Waratahs have looked very sharp with Izzy in some very good form, enough to warrant him a Wallabies jersey. Begs the question, if union has to poach players for their national side from other codes, is it because of their athleticism? Their ability? The big name? And if so, where’s the next gen of Australian Rugby players that  have any of that? I digress, but the Tahs should be too good here despite the Rebels coming off a stunning victory last round against the Stormers. Folau anytime try scorer at $2.40 looks tempting!

Blues v Brumbies: The Blues have been up and down (very down last round infact), much like the Brumbies, so without much confidence hoping the ACT side can come home from Auckland with a win, no bet for this game.

Force v Highlanders: Hard to not be impressed with the Force’s effort recently, a strong Force (as with the Rebels, Highlanders and Kings in RSA) is good for the competition, otherwise if they kept continuing to fail, the question would be why did we ever move away from 12 sides! The Highlanders, are simply a no bet team. No matter what the side looks like on paper you can guarantee they will not play to their best. Force to win here but no bet!

Kings v Cheetahs: First of the triple header from South Africa and the Cheetahs should just win this, weren’t expected by many here to defeat the Reds last week but did by a decent margin. This week, its not so much IF but BY HOW MUCH! The Kings have been one of the success stories this season, yes they may not play next season if they go to an eliminator at the end of the year but they have been excellent value in the competition. But the Cheetahs, even with some of their kamikaze like attack, should get the bikkies here.

Stormers v Reds: Avoid the Reds in the republic at all costs, said a mate of mine last week, and I wish I had followed his advice! They may be a title contender but no wins in South Africa since they won the title. Should the table stay roughly as it is, Reds could well be travelling to Pretoria in the finals, not exactly an easy task. Regardless of form, tipping Stormers here, but no bet!

Sharks v Bulls: Final match of the round is a beauty, a big derby game at Kings Park. Watch for the return of The Beast for the Sharks, one of the better forwards to watch. But liking the Bulls here, been in red hot form 5 wins on the trot and most of them convincing enough wins. Should win comfortably, amazingly on Sportsbet they’re the outsider, so going the Pick your own Line bet here at -2.5 at $2.40
